Nike’s New Hands-Free Sneakers
These new sneakers have been quite the buzz in the disability community this week. Have you seen ’em yet?
The shoe was conceptualized by a boy with cerebral palsy and is meant to be put on totally hands-free. While they are a bit pricey (or maybe I’m just frugal), I gotta say they look really awesome! Is this something you’d wear?

I saw these on the news the other day. I’m really intrigued. The price is steep but I justify it by saying I don’t wear out shoes quickly. Not giving up my Crocs, but something like this might be fun to add to the mix. Wish I could see them in person but doubt any local shops would carry them. Then there’s the whole hibernation thing.
