Novavax vaccine
Hi all, i would like to know your thoughts or any actual knowledge you have on the Novavax vaccine for SMA patients? I read past protein based vaccines caused a lot of neurological issues. Pls see below:
“Three central nervous system demyelinating diseases have been reported to occur following protein based vaccines, specifically hepatitis B vaccination: a chronic demyelinating disease, multiple sclerosis, and two focal demyelinating lesions, optic neuritis and transverse myelitis. A demyelinating disease is any condition that results in damage to the protective covering (myelin sheath) that surrounds nerve fibers in your brain, optic nerves and spinal cord. When the myelin sheath is damaged, nerve impulses slow or even stop, causing neurological problems.”
