With this video shared by CSIC, learn all about the new exoskeleton designed to specifically give children who suffer from spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) a chance to stand up and walk. It was unveiled in Spain.

The Spanish National Research Council, in partnership with Marsi Bionics, created what they believe is the world’s first telescopic apparatus that can be used by children from age 3 to 14. The device offers a therapeutic effect and gives children a better quality of life.
