This SoulPancake film, shared in April 2013, is all about Shane Burcaw, a 20-year-old student with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA).

Shane set up a non-profit organization called Laughing At My Nightmare which aims to spread awareness of SMA and providing equipment grants for other SMA patients.
