I saw they announced the Pixel 6 earlier this week and was wondering about the accessibility features. Do any of you have a Pixel? I would love to try it out, given that I use a Google Home, but it wasn’t accessible to me last time I checked.

I have a pixel 3a xl from a few years ago that has all the current software updates. I haven’t enabled any specific accessibility features, but if you want me to check if it can do something I can. I did download a Voice Access app, but haven’t needed it since the regular assistant has worked well enough for what I’ve needed.

Do you know if your Pixel has an accessibility menu? It’s a lifesaver on my Android.

Yep it does. It looks like that’s a feature that’s built into Android 12 (new OS version they just released about a month ago).

I don’t have one, but I try to keep up-to-date on the new features they build into these things (some of which eventually trickle down to other android phones). Here are the newest features I know about:

‘Assistant voice typing’ in Gboard lets you dictate, edit text hands-free
