It has been a couple of months since I’ve started selling my art online, and it has definitely been a learning curve in terms of balancing the business and my SMA. I think I like to pretend I can do it all, but the fact of the matter is I need to set healthy boundaries with myself and know my body’s limits.

This was, in part, a big reason why I put off this dream of mine to run an online shop for I feared the realities of SMA wouldn’t allow me to keep up. I finally took the plunge in this gift of time the pandemic has given me, and I’m so glad I did.

You can read all about that here in my most recent column. Has there ever been something you wanted to do but hesitated because of all the obstacles life with SMA presents?
