After a harrowing hospitalization last month, I have a lot to process. Flirting with death isn’t something that you just forget after a while. In my latest column, I talked briefly about my hospitalization, what life has been like after the fact, and how sometimes being here, being in this present moment, is simply enough. I for one am glad you, “lived to tell the tale,” as they say. You look good too I might add. Those boots! Love your style.
Unless you’ve gone through something like that I don’t think you can really grasp the gravity of it. My code blue moment, as I refer to it, feels like just yesterday even though it was 7 years ago already. Maybe some day you can share the nitty gritty with us. If not that’s okay too. Taking it day by day sounds like a good plan. Bet those two pups are glad to have you home too.
