I was today years old when I learned that you can order things other than food and drinks from DoorDash. I mean, Target, Walmart, CVS… it’s all on there! I’m pretty sure I’ve been living under a rock all this time to not have noticed.

I love that same-day shopping is so easy now, but the fees irritate me because it gets expensive quickly.

Do you use DoorDash for errands? Or do you have an alternative solution in a pinch?

While it is costly, it’s nice to know these options exist. Getting out and about isn’t always easy for me, so having something to fall back on is nice.

Living in a more rural area we don’t have as many delivery options. What’s your go-to service? I do enjoy Walmart+. Also Amazon Prime. If free delivery to store is an option and I don’t meet the minimum for free home delivery, I’ll do that and have a friend or family pick it up. I’m frugal so avoid fees if possible.

Do you have issues with other people picking out your stuff? Sometimes I know I would have picked out a different one at the store, but then again I wouldn’t be going to the store so I guess I take what I get.

Yeah I know what you mean. I’ll take what I can get, but I’d rather pick out my own stuff. That said, it’s hard to know what you’re getting when picking stuff out online. There’s good and bad to both, I guess!

We have Walmart+ and Amazon, too. I thought about getting the Target delivery service, but my brother works down the street from one, so I force him to pick up my orders sometimes lol. Plus, these services get expensive!

Do you have any food delivery services? How rural is rural?
