• Favorite Podcasts?

Hey all. I’ve never been big into podcasts but I want to change that! The reason for this is I try to set aside some time every day to, quite literally, not move my body. It helps me recharge. I usually watch tv during this time because, albeit relaxing, even tapping my kindle screen to turn the page can get tiresome. But I want to do something a little more informational and I thought podcasts would be a good start. Audiobooks could work too, but I can’t keep my focus on audiobooks and I like to be able to refer back if I have to. What are some of your favorite podcasts?

My favorite podcast is The Moth. Some of my other favorite podcasts are Ologies with Allie Ward, WTF with Marc Maron, Quirks and Quarks, and My Dad Wrote a Porno. I also enjoy Snap Judgement, The Splendid Table, This American Life, Radiolab, Car Talk , and Tiny Desk Concerts.

If you enjoy philosophy and/or psychology you might like Very Bad Wizards, The Partially Examined Life, Two Psychologist Four Beers, and Decoding the Gurus.

Sean Carroll’s Mindscape covers a wide range of topics but is mostly science focused (he’s a theoretical physicist).

My current favorite comedy podcast is Your Mom’s House (with Tom and Christina) but it’s not for everyone and some might consider it offensive (I won’t mention my other favorite because almost everyone considers it offensive).

News and politics…  The Lawfare podcast, Dauly Beans, The Fifth Column, Rational Security…

These are all great suggestions! Much better than my very short list: Crime Junkies. Thank you!
