Switching PCPs
My PCP has been out of office for over a year and I have no idea when she’s actually going to return, so I’ve decided to switch PCPs. I have a consultation scheduled for Feb. 15. Any ideas as to questions I should ask my new doctor?

I don’t have any specific questions for you. The vibe they give I feel is pretty important and how willing they seem to listen and learn. I met one doctor who acted like he knew everything. He questioned what type of SMA I had saying if it was type 2 I’d be dead by now. Needless to say I didn’t go back to him. How accessible they are is important too. They need to know it’s imperative you’re able to reach them if the need arises. Good luck, I hope you find the right fit.
