With SMA, Innovation In Assistive Technology Matters
Hey everyone! As the new year gets underway it’s a great opportunity to reflect on the past and look to the future.
In this video I do just that. While organizing at Mom’s we came across a couple items that are a blast from the past. Not only does it remind me how far we’ve come but also how innovative we were. I carry that innovative spirit with me to this day.

Loved this little trip down memory lane. It’s so cool to see the advances made in adaptive equipment over the years. As a kid, I used to have this giant wooden table my dad made for me. It fit perfectly around my tumbleform seat, and I’d sit there for hours drawing. None of my wheelchair tables worked quite like that table. There was so much room for art projects. 🙂
