Columnist Writes About Her Family’s ‘Sick Rules’
Happy Monday! In her latest column, Alyssa discusses her family’s “sick rules.” Whenever one of her family members is sick, they’re quarantined for seven to 10 days. It’s harsh, but everyone agrees that it’s the best way to beat the germs.
Things got complicated when both of Alyssa’s parents were out for the count. Her mom was sick and her dad was unable to help out with Alyssa’s care because of an upcoming operation. There was no choice but to violate their sick rules. Fortunately, they made it through the craziness.
SMA can complicate even the most mundane things like a cold. What do you do when your primary caregivers are down for the count?
