Columnist Writes About Her New Cat
It’s pet week over here! One of our columnists, Halsey, recently wrote about her new puppy, while I wrote about my new kitten. Cat motherhood is no joke! I’m learning a lot about myself and slowly starting to adapt to the responsibility of a little life.
In the column, I talk about the emotional weight of caring for a baby animal and a cardboard contraption that my dad came up with to facilitate some mother-daughter bonding. Do y’all have any tips for me when it comes to kittens and bonding?

A collar with a bell is helpful. As far as bonding, treats help.
