Finding Comfort In The Absurd
Happy Tuesday everyone!

I write about the intersection of humor and disability a lot, and in this piece I expand on the idea of embracing the absurdities around me. I linked it to a recent stomach virus my family and I had, and I did incorporate a pretty adolescent-style joke in there.

When you talk about watching The Office after school, it reminds me greatly of Monday Night Football for myself. No matter how stressed I was, I found solace in that. Any football has always done that for me, but Monday night in particular, because Mondays at school were particularly stressful.

Yep, it was an essential part of my routine. The only times I missed it were when I had rehearsal for school plays. That’s good you had football as well.
