This may be a silly question, but I’m new to the feeding tube world and don’t know an awful lot! I currently have an NJ tube and only have small windows without feeds. If I wanted to go on a day trip to the beach or something, the formula needs to be refrigerated. (It can’t stay out more than four hours.)

Do you have a cooler pack or something you’d recommend for traveling? What’s your routine like?

    Insulated lunch boxes 🙂

Are you using a pump? If so, I have seen lots of cute modified lunch boxes. You can get them on Etsy. They will keep your food cold AND keep the pump looking good in public.

Etsy!! That’s such a great idea!! I’m new to all of this, so these ideas are so helpful. And yes, I have an enteral pump.

Found these super cute formula bag covers while shopping on Etsy today! They even have a pouch for an ice pack to keep it cool. Perfect for when I want to spend the day outside.
