Dream Travel Destination
Going off of DeAnn’s recent post and Halsey’s column, I recently had to turn down a work trip to London which was basically a dagger to my heart. But due to Covid and disability-related things, it wasn’t going to be conducive. Oh well, maybe someday. London is definitely a city I’d love to visit, but I think Paris is my number one. If traveling challenges weren’t an obstacle, where would your top travel destination be?

On a related note: whenever I see “love to travel” on someone’s dating profile I worry that I would be a hindrance to their travel plans. I’m sure I would love traveling if it were easier but, man, as it stands it’s a lot of work for me and for whomever is with me. Yall know what I’m saying. ????????

Oh the possibilities! Maybe New Zealand. Although now stargazing in Alaska sounds intriguing.

It would be cool to say you’ve visited both hemispheres, if you went to New Zealand.

The Maldives… ohhh if only I was rich. Not only is the flight ridiculously long but you also have to take a small private plane to the island after you land at the “mainland” airport. Oh and also did I mention it’s like thousands upon thousands upon thousands of dollars? Yeah… ???? As mentioned in the previous thread, Dubai is my next more achievable travel goal. And also in case anyone is wondering, it’s known for being extremely accessible and light years ahead of the US in terms of technology/architecture
